Velveeta & PepperJack
Jalapenos, Serrano, Poblano, Onion
Chorizo, Chicken
Ro-Tel
Cream of Mushroom Soup
300F-350F for an hour or so
Oak for Smoke

That looks absolutely wonderful! I'm gonna' have to try it, but I don't believe I've ever even gotten my grill to 300 degrees! I might have to dig out the smoker to pull it off. Thanks for sharing!

Well... not sure what the inspiration was, other than I'm trying to eat more beans/peas for my blood pressure.

I opened a can of English/sweet peas, drained 'em (actually drank the juice), put 'em in a bowl, and added a generous amount of Ranch dressing and stirred it well.

It makes an incredibly tasty dip (at room temperature) with Tostitos corn chips. :thumb:

The benefits of the peas don't offset the sodium in the chips. lol

Or you could try buying some carbon credits. lol

I've realized for quite some time that most of my food is only a substrate to hold the salt, butter, ketchup, or gravy. And I'm OK with that!

Believe it or not, they actually do in the long run. Salt does give my BP a temporary boost, but after a while the beans/peas kick in.

Not that it wouldn't be even lower without the chips, of course. But man, ya gotta live a little. :D

I frequently make bean dip with refried beands and eat it with chips. Beans work better than peas for my BP BTW.
