I’ve hunted it numerous times. Some of the roads are really rough and rugged. They planted food plots in there in the past but not sure they still do. There are deer in there but it’s a fairly difficult hunt.

The area continues to have food plots.
it is rugged terrain and you will need to have a plan on how to get a deer out of there.
The success rate for the draw hunts on this area is pretty low.
Deer numbers are not very high compared to what most people are used to seeing on private land. It is not uncommon to spend all day in there hunting or drive the entire road system and never see a deer.
You will likely see more elk than deer.
A 4-wheeled drive vehicle is advisable but not absolutely necessary. Most of the roads are maintained well, however, there are many steep slopes with loose gravel, lots of rock outcrops in roads and several places that will be difficult if it’s wet.
Timber rattlesnakes, western diamondbacks, and copperheads are present.

Yep. I drew there once- saw 1 deer and 11 elk. Good time though.
