That guy was totally stupid in several ways. Even if he was a competent capable track rider. Right off it should have been very obvious to him that police cruiser was an equal match to the "rocket" he was riding. He had no advantage of top speed on the 4 lane or acceleration from low speed. Not something to ignore. Now days, running from LEO's is something that is not going to end well very often as their methods, radios, and most important, performance enhancements to their vehicles are prepared for those kinds of situations. Different than lots of years past. LEO's even local police departments don't drive grandmas Crown Victoria with the big 390 option stock motor to chase you down any more, they drive what used to be called the sleeper hot rods. As you see an average LEO drive by, think about that might be a vehicle with a 150 limiter on it. Ha I have to admit, back 50 years ago I prob instigated some of that being improved. Nope, not going to talk in detail about nottin I did on my 1972 750 3cy Kawasaki which was the very first crotch rocket to exist back in the day. Back then Iffen they were not close enough to read my tag number they never had a second chance. I had the big advantage of acceleration and prob top speed back in those days. All I can say is I was never stopped and given a ticket AND I am thankful I am alive and well today. Thanks for posting. Sharing new stuff that some of us can relate to from the past.
