The Paki ammo is fairly mediocre. As John mentioned, there is usually a delay in pulling the trigger and hearing a boom, and it's corrosive and leaves a nasty residue.


I usually load .303 with Varget.

Yeah i handload for everything. The guy we got it from gave us the dies yesterday along with about 35 more commercial rounds and 50 more surplus. some of the surplus had a date stamp of early 1940s. him tossing in dies and more ammo this thing gets cheaper and cheaper

I have a zip lock bag full of that stuff. Unloaded 150 rnds. about a couple years ago. Usually grab a small handfull around the 4th of July to play with.

Also have yet to reload the rounds I took the cordite out of. I have a set of dies, just have got around to reloading with good powder yet.

it is fun to build little log cabin looking structures about an inch tall with that cordite, then set it afire.
