Anyone take advantage of Crimson Trace's offer for a "FREE" battery?

I wrote them three weeks ago, received an "auto response" and nothing since.

Are you talking about their free batteries for life or do they have something else now? I know their free batteries for life thing was always a pain to go through and half the time they denied.

Free Batteries for life. CR2 battery for my Rail Master.

Thanks for sharing your comments ... no such thing as a free lunch or a free battery.

I've used that service before. Worked nicely for me but I fell out of the habit of remembering to request them.

Me too. I've got two batteries from them but my original is still good a couple years later. Looking back, hated to get those batteries when I didn't need them, and possibly denying someone that did need access to them. I gave them to a fellow shooter awhile back.

Just got a reply from CT ... been approved but there is a two to three month back log. Bought two at Walmart. Will order some online next.
