As a responsible gun and cat owner I take the laser off the gun before entertaining the cat. My cat is too smart I don't want her learning to point a gun. I've already caught her ordering stuff from Pet Smart and Cheaper Than Dirt when I leave the computer on.

It works pretty good on dogs too. My heeler and german shepherd will chase the dot until their tongues are hanging on the floor. Now every time they see my pistol they go nuts wanting to play. It's pretty damn funny to watch!
