Custom blade for factory knife?

I love the look of a damascus blade.

They were selling Damascus blanks at the last gun show, you could maybe buy a pre-made blade and grind it to fit your knife. Just a idea.

I'm sure you could find somebody on bladeforums to do it for you. I would imagine it would run you at minimum $150 for quality damascus. I've never been much of a fan of Kershaw damascus knives myself and would prefer a san-mai or quality damascus over what they offer any day.

Finding the blank is the easy part...finding someone to make it work in a particular knife will be the challenge.

Alabama Damascus is really nice.I have a couple of Damascus blanks from Jantz that were 100 dollars a piece that I may not ever put handles on.These are more of a hunting style knife blank.

Protech has some Damascus switchblades that are very sweet.If you like switchblades Protech would be the Lexus of switchblades.

I've played with them...I just dont like the feel of them as much as my Blur. I cant say what it is about that knife...but it just works for me.

Have you contacted Kershaw to see if they do any sprint runs on the Blur?
Too bad you're not after a Spyderco, they're known for doing exotic blades quite often.

There was a maker at the last knife show that did some beautiful folders. I would think a person that specializes in folders could do it fairly easily.
I’d like some before and after pics myself.
