Custom blade for factory knife?

They were selling Damascus blanks at the last gun show, you could maybe buy a pre-made blade and grind it to fit your knife. Just a idea.

I'm sure you could find somebody on bladeforums to do it for you. I would imagine it would run you at minimum $150 for quality damascus. I've never been much of a fan of Kershaw damascus knives myself and would prefer a san-mai or quality damascus over what they offer any day.

Alabama Damascus is really nice.I have a couple of Damascus blanks from Jantz that were 100 dollars a piece that I may not ever put handles on.These are more of a hunting style knife blank.

There was a maker at the last knife show that did some beautiful folders. I would think a person that specializes in folders could do it fairly easily.
I’d like some before and after pics myself.
