[QUOTE="surjimmy, post: 2107904, member: 1551"] Just like when a person makes a hot-rod. He takes the shell of the car and fine-tunes it, puts different things in it, a cut here and a snip there. I have 2 Colts a 70 Series and a 80 Series, that was worked over by Yost-Bonitz, same with my Chuck Warner Delta Elite, Behlert, AD Swenson, Tussey and many more Smiths. There is no comparison in the before and after, some you have to look hard to find the work some you can see a mile off. The first 2 are Yost-Bonitz, they look almost alike, and are a little hard to tell from stock. the next is a matching pair(not on purpose) of Austin Behlert. 1924 Colt and a Browning HP. Delta Elite custom finish with square trigger guard. I consider these all custom's. Now if I bought a Les Baer or a Brown or Wilson. I would consider them semi custom. 80 Series Colt.
