Just saw a piece on the CBS national news earlier about the DA in San Joaquin County California, Stockton, sending teams of officers out with warrants seizing weapons that they know are being held by felons, etc. They said they have 44,000 of the warrants to serve. It showed officers going in homes and coming out with guns. They had a pretty good spread of different weapons on the tailgate of the truck in the piece. Any one else see this? I barely caught it.

I am not sure the whole story on this one, but if they had probably cause to get the warrants then I am completely in favor of enforcement of the current law, which prohibits felons from owning guns. Enforcing current law is what people really should be doing right now not trying to ban guns.
