Used peanut butter on the end of popsicle sticks balanced over the mouth. Mouse would crawl on the stick and drop into the jar. He would capture them alive and take them to the lake putting an unweighted hook into the nap of their neck, tossing them into the lily pads which is where the swim beach is now at Lake Ponca. After they crawled onto a pad, he would move them off so they would have to swim to get back on the pad. He caught some really big bass using that.</blockquote>
