I've hit 8 deer that I can think of right off hand. Some I was able to slow down and avoid much damage, some not. 4 of the deer I hit were luckily in a truck with a ranch hand bumper. Once, while running late for work, one came in front of me from nowhere. I never had time to hit my brakes, or even take my foot off the pedal and slammed her at 87 mph. With the ranch hand bumper, there was zero damage to the truck other than needing a wash because of the deer hair and deer crap all over the front/size of the truck. I can all in all I can't complain. Out of 8 deer, only 3 sent the vehicle to the body shop. Needless to say, I love my ranch hand bumper.
