I know an old thread but i use to use ultra-sound gel that I got from a buddies wife. I guess it worked like the wire pulling gel as far as the consistency of it. I could tell a big sound difference between the first rd of the mag from the last. Repeat each mag and at the end of the day I’d do a hot water and soap shake out. Oh this was an old style cab that was a PITA to disassemble so that only happened every thousand rds. Just thought I’d throw that out there.
