[QUOTE="Lone Wolf '49, post: 1725327, member: 3016"] I am from Lone Wolf, OK, originally, and during the Depression of 30's the Farmers Coop there started a funeral home if you will. They started a funeral home then and with memberships. I am a member and the most expensive cost of the funeral these days is the casket. Now, being an old guy I have buried many relatives including parents and grandparents on both sides via the coop funeral home. This Coop saved me a lot on the money side. Having said that, I have decided for cremation. Why should I take up valuable land for a "worthless" burial. Just sayin', kids from an old guy. OH, I don't pay any annual dues either, all paid up.
