I will admit, church HAS been a major vector locally for COVID, from my experience. I've seen a LARGE number of elderly folks who believe they caught it from church, some of whom have died. I've personally 'tracked' (informally) several outbreaks at local churches. At our church, I think all but 2 of the staff members have contracted COVID throughout the last 10 months or so. But, for me personally, I think the decision is the right one - it's time for me, personally, to get back in church. My wife can make her own decision. My kid, well, he ain't gettin' the vaccine anytime soon anyways, so, unless we want to keep him out another 6 months or year, he can go back now, too. I'm just finally gettin' "over it all" and since it seems to me we may be dealing with this for a long time, if not permanently, what with reinfection now seeming to be a fair possibility, I think we need to just move on and face the music. I ain't wearing a mask forever. Seems kind of agnostic, to my understanding. I get it.
