My doctor for the past 14 years that I've been extremely satisfied with is leaving public practice because of it. She told me last week that due to some of the changes already implemented, her work days as a GP in the office have gone to 16 hours, all in order to comply with the papwerwork requirements. She said that many of the duties assigned to her nurse can no longer be performed without a MD license.
