I lucked into a jackpot of nice knives including Buck, Colt, Remington, Gerber, a Gladstone Marble and other makes. I used to do metal smithing...mostly Ag..And carved everything from fossil ivory to corundum aka sapphire and ruby, and fire agates. I still have a few projects that I could finish: under optimum conditions- but since have entombed myself in other projects, and am getting older every few weeks, or so it seems...oh well. But knives are always interesting, and wouldn't mind trading for a nice Buck or other quality auto. I had an old friend, (and the term's kinda loose) as he may have dismissed more people than got along with him- (CeyeA) who got his 1st tat at 4, and he travelled a lot. During a famous Asian incident; he sent his perfect fighting knife specs to a major U S knife co..that sounds like they also made baby food?...His knife had a 10" blade as I recall, designed to make victims 'shorter'.... Knice knife, and I think it was 1 of 3?....if not the only one. Probably one of the coolest blades I ever got my mitts on... Next to Colonel Chris 'Kit' Carson's sword. I miss my sword collection too. No junk, all historical antiques: mid 18th to early 20th C. I might have to redevote some bladetime. Armor was also a hobby....once. .
