Been delayed for over 30 years now. Every transaction and I do not have a common name. I've related on here before about why I think that happens, but I also have recently experienced quicker delays. As was earlier stated, if delayed at one of the big box sporting goods stores, the store would deny the sale. 6 months ago, spotted a FN-502 in Cabella's that couldn't be passed up. Delayed once again, but the counter guy told me to wait around for a bit. About 10 minutes later he found me in the fishing section and said approved! A month or so later won a Browning Maxus II in 3 1/2" 12 ga at a DU Banquet. Delayed again, but 30 minutes later, BOOM! Didn't have to take the walk of shame out the door to pick it up later. BUT! My can for the 502 is still in NFA jail since Dec 12. I hear some are being approved in two days now. Not me.
