Bad deal. Anticoagulants can be dangerous if their blood levels aren’t titrated properly and rechecked often. The less expensive drugs like warfarin have a long half-life and can get out of control. Pressure on the site of the hemorrhage is essential to reduces blood loss even on abdominal gunshot wounds. Here’s to a better year to follow. Good luck, Sir. Back in 2009, I had a ruptured diverticula with peritonitis, sepsis and temporary renal failure. I had a colostomy for over three months. I was lucky that my wife is an RN and it made things easier to handle.
