Dillion .223 dies ( unless they have been upgraded) have a design or production flaw in them. My decapping pin broke on mine. When I went to unscrew it from the decap bolt the female thread split. I checked it out and found out why. The threaded section of the decapping pin has a shoulder on it the same diameter as the male thread on the pin. So when the pin is screwed all the way in the shoulder is forced inside the female threads of the upper decap bolt. That bolt has a very thin wall. So forcing a shoulder into the internal threads on a very thin wall decap bolt was missed in design or a production step in the set I bought was missed. The threaded section on the pin should have been threaded all the way to where it makes contact to the decap bolt or the internal threads of the decap bolt should have been cut out for the length of the shoulder on the decapping pin. I called Dillon for a week and the guy there they said I should talk to would not answer the phone or return my calls. I have used this die for maybe 20 years so by now this may have been fixed. Dillon did send me a new decap bolt at no charge.
