here's a video of me trying a coyote that stayed in a ditch for about a mile. As you can hear my dogs were not happy that they didn't get to chew Wylie's butt, ears and face off. They get so emotional and excited when they hear and feel those RPMs

Why not turn the dogs loose to chase down the coyote?
We do. The greyhounds are sight dogs and we try to get them as close as possible. Just before that coyote got in the ditch you can just get a glimpse of a set of Dave's dogs. They had run the coyote about a half mile then lost sight of it.
I try not to dump a set of my dogs on others because they get so ramped up they often go to the other dogs as soon as they see them and it's a helluva fight.
