My cousin took one home and has already done some upgrades.
2023 Demon - It's pushing 1100 hp on the dyno with the Whipple supercharger upgrade.
I am trying to round up the dyno print sheet and some pics of the engine compartment.

Two runs at the 1/4 mile track.

First run on street tires - 9.7
Second run on slicks - 9.3

I assume that was on a wheel dyno.

Darn cars are stupid heavy today.
I remember when 600 crank HP would get a car in the 9's.

I do not care how you go quick and fast I like all vehicles like that.
Yeah, that was at the rear wheels on the dyno.

He said it was the last year for those. If that’s the case, the value will just keep going up.

Every time I go see MoBoost at Abel Racing in WMC I get the urge to build something with boost.
Watching those cars on his dyno pull those high HP numbers gets your blood flowing.
I have got to ride in a couple very low 9 second cars and on the street it is un-hookable.
Fun stuff.
My mid 11 second stuff flat hooked up on the street and track.
I could not imagine owning a 9 second car. Of course it would still have a trailer hitch if it was mine.

Always been a MOPAR fan. Was really pissed when I heard they were retiring the big block HEMI engines just to meet EPA fleet mileage requirements. The new generation will still be fast, but it just won't be the same. If I hit the PB lottery this week, I will be buying a small fleet of these past and present.

How'd he run that fast without getting kicked off the track for not having a cage?

New rules for newer cars allow them to run 9.00 at 150 MPH without modification.
I think that is 2014 and newer and 2008-20013 is a 10.0 at 135 without modifications.

Us old school car owners are still screwed and must add a cage/bar at 11.50.
Unless you go to Ardmore and they usually do not care.
