Generally no. My opinion is that 99% of people that clame to have seen a ghost are FOS. That being said I offer this. In Dec. '08 my favorite uncle passed away at the age of 85. WWII vet and life long farmer/rancher. My very special favorite aunt (dad's sister) had Alzhiemer's. Since both of their children had died at an early age (both before the age of 25) myself and a cousin from my dad's oldest sister were the only ones to step up and help out. My older cousin took on most of the business dealings for my aunt as that is what she is good at. I took on the taking care of the 120 acre farm end of things. My uncle had maintained about 3 acres for their yard and garden. I was spending a couple days a week keeping it mowed and doing the usual general maintenance and upkeep on the place. Mowing was prety much an all day affair between weed control and having to work around several out buildings and many ornamental trees and flower beds. The farm is remote and I would only rarely have some one come up while I was working, usually a neighbor checking to see who was there. About every time while I was mowing or working I would think I saw someone out of the corner of my eye and think some one had come up to see what was going on. I'd stop and look around and there would be no one there. Never a creepy feeling about it and even though my aunt was in an assisted living place in town the farm still felt "welcoming". After my aunt passed on the 4th of July last year I never again "thought I saw someone" and the farm and house just felt "empty" after that. Maybe it was my uncle waiting around for my aunt or maybe it was just my emotions and imagination.
