I checked "Yes always with safety on", meaning if equipped with a safety it IS engaged. Regardless, there's always one in the chamber and all safety features of the gun are activated.

Not carrying one in the chamber is like trying to put your seatbelt on right before a crash. I keep one in the chamber, hammer decocked and safety off.
