Does leaving magazines loaded ruin them?

I recently shot out a bunch of pmags that I had loaded 2 years ago, no hiccups.

thanks for all the input. I agree that shooting is best but was just wondering what was acceptable time period for leaving them loaded. (1 day, 1 week, 2 months?) Sounds like many of you have left them loaded for years with no problem so it's pretty much a non-issue. Eases my mind. Again, thanks for all the feedback.
