I just wanted to let everyone know that the rescued pups are doing great thanks in large part to the effort of you folks. They are both healthy enough to be adopted but do have one more vet visit in a few weeks for the last of their shots. The female we are calling Princess because she is so dainty. She likes to play but is happiest curled up to somebody on the couch with her head in the persons lap. She seems to like women just a little better then men but that may because the wife will set there and pet her for hours. The male we are calling Blackie because he is mostly black with a little white on his chest and rear feet. He loves to play and is a chewer but give him a big rawhide bone and he is in doggie heaven and will leave everything else alone. Both are gentle, housebroken and are perfectly happy sleeping in dog crates with the door open. Both are extremely well behaved for being pups between 7 and 8 months old. I think both would be great around young kids. I think we wife would like to keep them especially the female but we already have 2 dogs and our old Dalmatian is always snapping at them. You guys know how grumpy old women can be. I am afraid she is going to hurt one of them. I want to give the folks here first shot at them so If you want a free Christmas pup or two shoot me a PM and we can work out a time for you to come see them and a way to get them their last shots. We can even hold them until after the vet visit but I can not promise no bite marks. They have not been fixed so if you want them fixed you will have to do that. I strongly recommend it. If no one here wants one or both, we will probably work something out with a dog rescue to take them.
