Message: <blockquote data-quote="pen25" data-source="post: 2602136" data-attributes="member: 18377">as was said. dicks never stopped selling guns. they just never really catered to the whole mall ninja thing allot of other stores tried to do. their prices on firearms isnt a huge markup. if they dont have a gun in stock they can order them if you take your time and read through the catalogs. their ammo prices havent been increased like the LGS's. they may open the bulk packs of ammo to sell as singles like all the stores do. but they arnt charging 20 cents a round like many do as well. the last time i bought some ammo at dicks it was blazer 22lr at 3 bucks a box of 50. the bulk pack of Remington i bought 6 months or so ago was 26 bucks or 5 cents a rnd. compare this to sports world which sold their 50rnd packs of 22lr blazer for 3.99 or 8 cents a round. its a matter of shopping smart though. buy at dicks if its the best price. i may not buy much at dicks. but when they have sales on 12ga for 5 bucks a box for gun clubs ill buy a couple cases. and i will also hit the stores every so often on friday mornings and see if they have any 22.</blockquote>
