Dong's (As defined by myself, the Oxford Dictionary, and Tulsa People/Google Review)

Here's how it went.... <em>(What you are about to read is the best representation I can offer from my failing memory mostly due to wanting to forget my experience)</em></p><p><em></em></p><p><strong>Characters are as follows:</strong></p><p>Me=Me </p><p>Dong1=Younger Dark Haired Male </p><p>Dong2=Older Male</p><p></p><p><strong>Me:</strong> Hi, do you guys carry CZ or specifically any Dan Wesson 1911's? </p><p></p><p><strong>Dong1:</strong> No (Looking annoyed and uninterested)</p><p></p><p><strong>Me: </strong>Well, do you carry any 1911's that have all steel internals?</p><p></p><p><strong>Dong1:</strong> Uh, what are you talking about (rolls his eyes.)</p><p></p><p><strong>Me:</strong> Ummm, well most of the internals of today's 1911's are not steel but a......(interrupted)</p><p></p><p><strong>Dong1:</strong> Look Sir, I don't know about any space age stuff like that...This is all we offer (pointing to the 1911's)</p><p></p><p><strong>Me:</strong> Can you order CZ? </p><p></p><p><strong>Dong1:</strong> (says nothing...to which I can only assume he's trying to shake the sand from his vag)</p><p></p><p><strong>Me:</strong> (Starts to walk out the door but decides to ask the older man) Sir, Do you.... (interrupted)</p><p></p><p><strong>Dong2:</strong> Ya...I heard already and we don't have anything. (making sure not to make eye contact with me)</p><p></p><p><strong>Me:</strong> (Exits the building laughing and shaking my head)</p><p></p><p></p><p>Dong's</p><p></p><p><strong>According to the Oxford Dictionary:</strong></p><p>Noun</p><p></p><p> 1the deep, resonant sound of a large bell. </p><p></p><p> 2Australian/NZ a blow; a punch. </p><p></p><p> <span style="color: #FF0000"> 3 vulgar slang a man’s penis. </span></p><p></p><p><strong>According to the People of Tulsa via Google Review</strong></p><p> </p><p>Dan. &#8206; - 3 months ago</p><p>Dong's has some decent prices and a great selection. Unfortunately the people that work there seem to feel like <span style="color: #FF0000">customers are an inconvenience</span>. Every time I've been in there <span style="color: #FF0000">I've been sneered at and talked down to by at least two employees.</span> Among other things I've also seen them lie to customers that don't know much about guns in order make sales....blatant lies too. On top of that I got <span style="color: #FF0000">muzzled several times the last time I was there by the younger guy that works there (Horribly unsafe).</span> The middle aged fellow in there is the only one that I like; he acknowledged I was there and even stopped to talk to me. This would be a <span style="color: #FF0000">good shop if the employees didn't have sticks in their butts</span>. I've been shooting for years but I still get <span style="color: #FF0000">treated like garbage every time I visit</span> there. If you can find it somewhere else I suggest you do so.</p><p> </p><p>Billy &#8206; - 4 months ago</p><p>Went in to look at some guns, just wanted to buy a .22 pistol. <span style="color: #FF0000">Guys behind the counter were jerks</span>, didn't want to let me hold anything. The guys were very reluctant to do anything, but were very eager to tell me not to touch the guns on racks. <span style="color: #FF0000">Will never be back</span>, bought a gun that same day at a different store. </p><p></p><p>no name &#8206; - 10 months ago</p><p>worst ever there rasicist and there <span style="color: #FF0000">terrible customer service boycott them </span>will never step foot or look over there again </p><p></p><p>Spork &#8206; - a year ago</p><p><span style="color: #FF0000">Very unfriendly</span>. They have a lot of stuff, but there are better places to go. Crammed full of stuff, lots of junky guns, <span style="color: #FF0000">unhelpful, unfriendly staff. I will never go back. </span></p><p></p><p>ktapp &#8206; - a year ago</p><p><span style="color: #FF0000">If you don't know firearms, don't go to Dong's!</span> Before you go to Dong's, realize they've been in the firearms game a long time and unfortunately it shows. Don't go there if you need to learn anything, you'll get starred down the long-nose and get sold some over-priced equipment. My personal experience has been they are short on time and long on BS. Their prices are 25-30% above online and customer service means nothing to them so my business never ends up there. </p><p></p><p>Kimmy &#8206; - a year ago</p><p><span style="color: #FF0000">Rude Service</span>, <span style="color: #FF0000">Not Knowledgeable </span>My boyfriend and I decided to stop by Dong's to check and see if they were able to get a certain part for an assault rifle that has been in the family for awhile. Upon arriving, our rifle was secured within its case, the magazine was taken out and empty, but the employees decided to rudely remove the rifle from our hands and then almost rip off its case to check and make sure it was "empty". We shrugged this off as the employees being a little jumpy, having gone to gun shops before, we were aware that this behavior was........almost normal. After asking one of the employees if a part was available, he informed us that our rifle was "FUBAR'd" and not worth it. Not only did he not understand that the rifle just needed a good oiling, but he did not understand that we wanted to replace a WORKING part that was simply getting old. Finally, the employee informed us that our rifle was not the rifle we thought it was because he did not recognize the modifications, real smart. Tulsa Firearms welcomed us with open arms after our HORRIBLE experience at Dong's, and we went to the rifle range that day and shot up some targets. Thank you Dong's for being possibly the worst gun shop in Oklahoma and surrounding states. </p><p></p><p>kokopelli &#8206; - a year ago</p><p>A Suggestion <span style="color: #FF0000">Yes, customer service at Dong's is very much lacking</span>. It is a good place to get reloading supplies locally, in fact one of the best locally. However, gun sales are much better had at Sports World on 41st Street in Tulsa. The customer service is MUCH better and the display of guns is professionally done. Sports World has also ordered several items for me. They are extremely prompt on getting the items in and notifying me when they arrive. <span style="color: #FF0000">Dong's is not so willing or organized.</span> I have seen guns stacked on top of each other at Dong's.
