I was looking through some of the pictures I have of cool cars, and ran across these again. It is an Ultima GTR, a British kit car, you buy the pieces, and build it yourself. It uses GM small block engines, and has set world records for acceleration.

Anyways, this just makes me drool...

In an anything goes scenario, this:

In an "I just won the lottery!" scenario, this:

Showoff!!

But hey, I would too if I had one!
Is that first one a Bugatti?
On the CTS-V, would you be getting the manual or the auto?

I was talking about Corvettes with my wife either right before or right after we got married, and she "you can have one, but it needs to be an older one," as she pointed out a C3. I can live with that!! I'd want to build one like this one, which has a supercharged LS6 and 6spd transmission.

I was not familiar with the Ultima. It reminds me of the old Porsche 917. I'm much more of a dream bike guy than a dream car guy but I suppose I would have to put this one on the list:

That's a really nice custom C3! I tend to like them original, but that one is very tastefully done. Good eye on the Bugatti. It's a 1938 Type 57SC, which is considered one of the best looking and highly prized pre-war cars.

On the Caddy, I'd get the auto. It still has a top speed of 176 mph, which I doubt I'd ever see. They used the auto version to set the production sedan record at The Ring. It ran a 7:59.32 lap on the Nordschleife circuit. That's the same time as a Z51 C6 Vette, with a whole lot more comfort and room for not much more $$$. As I get older, I appreciate a plush ride. :)

That's why I like it! I was wondering if you'd pull out that info on the CTS-V.

Flatwins, I hear ya on the M5, but I prefer the e39 flavor...
