The vent goes outside literally next to the dryer, so it's easy to check for the ground (which I could easily see).What I do every six months is pop off the outside raincover and screen. I have a hose that I use just for this that consists of a funnel with raised sides just big enough to slip snuggly over the through-wall pipe, the narrow part of the funnel cut, and the remaining funnel duct-taped to the extra hose that I bought. I do this because the way the laundry area is, you have to remove the washing machine to move the dryer enough to get behind it.But yeah, I've got a busy day today, but I'll see if I can get back to it later this afternoon.</blockquote>
