Elbow surgery Tuesday afternoon

I get to have surgery to repair a tear on the exterior tendon of my right elbow.

Do you have any pain symptoms?
If you have pain where does it hurt?
Does it feel like tennis elbow?

Yes, it is tennis elbow but of course they used a fancy word to describe it. I am right handed so I guess I get to learn something new. It hurts about 80% of the time about mid joint. It "bites" everytime I shake hands, lift something etc.
