The LOOK underpowered to do much anything more than straight knotless logs that have been seasoned well. I would think that if you run the ram on one of those into an unseasoned log it would not have enough to get all the way through it and stick, then you would get the pleasure of trying to hammer the log off of the wedge. Just my .02 but if you are going to spend money get a gas powered rig. The one I have now is gas powered and rated for 22 tons with a 2 stage pump. The tank on the b/s motor holds a little over a gallon of fuel and will split enough wood to make you want the break that is coming when it runs dry.</p></blockquote><p></p>
