My shop service comes from the main service breaker at the meter. Like Tjay said, you will need to check with the city if you are in the city limits as well as the service provider. I had to have the meter moved from the house to the pole when I built my shop for example. The shop was going to be on top of the underground line and they required I take responsibility of the line from the pole with a structure over it.</p></blockquote><p></p>
