Oh man ... I'm so sorry. My neighbor, Dan, has been gone 8 years now and I still catch myself missing him nearly every day. The folks who bought the place are the exact opposite of your buddy, BIll and my bud, Dan. Makes me miss Dan that much more.

I still wake up and walk outside. Glance ove there. I usually take his paper. Same with the back fence, we talked across it slot.

It’s odd to me how much I miss him. Became part of my daily routine talking to him.

I am truly sorry to hear this. Some of us have been blessed with friends like your friend. I have had two like him. Both are now gone, but there are so many great memories. It sounds like he received much the same blessings that you, and your family received from him.
