Ok @DRC458 what were the loads I shot like?

I found this metric...trying to get an idea of what to expect going forward in my No. 1 search.

375 H&H (10lb gun) 300 gn @ 2572 fps = 40 ft-lb recoil

416 Ruger (9.5lb gun) 400gn @ 2330 fps = 50 ft-lb recoil

458 Lott (10lb gun) 500gn @ 2200 fps = 62 ft-lb recoil.

I have a box of .458 Lott here at the house...been eyeballing a No. 1 for over a year and hoping a "deal" pops up in that caliber...but yes, I have a sickness and the only prescription is MORE GUNS!!!!

Loved meeting everybody, some I already knew, but most I did not. Lots of interesting high end, low end, and everything in between guns to fondle and shoot.
Made it home after a side trip to the farm pond to do a little fly fishing for perch, got home, cleaned out the truck, and got the boat and gear loaded to meet a buddy from Glenco at 6 am on the boat ramp in the morning on Sooner lake for some fishing time.
This retirement gig is killing me!

I needed more time to play today. The Redhawk Dennis had was amazing and has been a dream gun of mine for years. @adamsredlines had an M1A that is on my list as well. Jen wants a Browning Hi-Power now and a .22lr like Dennis allowed her to shoot in the AR type platform. These ENS may not be good for my 'ol retired checking acct.

I'm trying to quit buying guns. I can't say I have all I'll ever need and more. That would require handing over my man card, and I"m not ready to do that.
