I would be sitting at my desk in my office and would feel something crawling in my hair.  I would pull it out and it would be this small little beetle. Happened occasionally for about 2 weeks before I called my exterminator.  When he came out, he determined it was carpet beetles, but the only place I had them were in my office, where I have no carpet.  Come to find out, they like to live in taxidermy mounts, thus why they would fall onto my head.  He treated my mounts once and the problem was solved.  Side note….
