A friend and I loved to torment him by knocking on his door and running or standing outside in his yard yelling at him. now he was mentally disabled or what we used to call mentally retarded. He would come flying out of his trailer house with a 2x4 and we would run laughing just as hard as we could. now if he caught us he probably would have beat us to death.(He wasn't all there)  Had he caught us and done that everyone would have wanted to hang poor ol' Melvin from the nearest tree. But there was a different side to the story. Did we deserve death? No. Did we flirt with death? Yes.</p></blockquote><p></p>
