What's up with the hat/mexican wrestling mask that one posted above is wearing?
A classic Falconry hood, designed to keep the birds calm while not hunting. These birds are pretty much either "off" or "on", the hood keeps them in the off position while you, "Take PICs of the awesome beaver you just captured!"
This hood has my own touches added to it!

Man I wish this wasn't during Thanksgiving weekend. I got the go ahead to come, but I just don't know if it is in my best interests. Probably the only way I could swing it is for my wife to come too. Can't say if that would happen or not being the holidays and family visiting and what not. Maybe I'll catch you guys doing this at a different juncture.

We live in OKC, 2.5 hours from woodward. I couldn't possibly commit right now though. We'd have to see what is going to happen that weekend.

The group hunts 6 different cities in rotating fashion.

Amarillo, Texas
Woodward, Oklahoma
Kearny, Nebraska
Alamosa, Colorado
We have a pretty big impact on the local game population with over 700 Falconers and some 300 birds all hunting the same week. We rotate for good stewardship reason, never want to hurt the local game population.
So was Amarillo last year or next year? I could do Amarillo. Grandparents live there!!
