It is Wormzilla! Seriously saw this dude crawling across the drive this morning and he is one of the largest I can remember seeing. When fully stretched out to pull himself along, almost 17 inches. At rest about 12". I would take him fishing but I am afraid he would beat up the fish.

Looks like a river worm. They get that big and are as tough as a bootlace.
