Message: <blockquote data-quote="Perplexed" data-source="post: 2374969" data-attributes="member: 7157">I saw two 500-round cases of Federal 7.62x51 147-grain FMJ at the south BA Walmart yesterday, with a price tag of $375.  I haven't seen that caliber on the shelf in a long time, and was wondering if anyone here has had any experience with this brand?  I hemmed and hawed about buying a case, but since I know nothing about the caliber in this brand, opted to walk away.  Should I go back and get it - if you guys reading this haven't already run down there to get them?  <img src="/images/smilies/tongue.png"  class="smilie" loading="lazy" alt=":P" title="Stick Out Tongue    :P" data-shortname=":P" /></blockquote>
