I would normally say do what ever you want with the gays in the military thing as long as you put the same standards you do on women, mainly keep them out of the combat arms jobs. Infantry is as much a different breed from the rest of the Army as the non-combat soldiers are a different breed from civilians, maybe even more so. However that poses a major problem. Women can be easily distinguished from men and separated appropriately. You know for sure whether that is another woman or man in the showers, bunk rooms, ect. Homosexual isn't always quite so easy to determine. And i know its a shock, but people will lie to get their jollies. Personally, I'm sure we probably had at least 1 or 2 gay guys in our unit or one we worked with. All i ask is keep it under wraps and do your job. In this case i would be perfectly happy being completely ignorant.I've said it before and i'll say it again: Soldiers do a politically incorrect job, have a politically incorrect mindset and basically have none of the rights guaranteed to every other American. To all judges, politicians, lawyers, political rights activist and hippy liberals, please quit trying to force it to be a politically correct organization and just enjoy the freedoms it keeps safe for you.</blockquote>
