Don't breathe a sigh of relief if your firearms aren't on the list.

The real danger lies in proposals for an expanded background check requirement. Whether they call call it Universal Background Checks or call it something else and allow family transfers to be exempt, it should be prevented. It is a ruse to create a database, sooner or later.

After a few more mass shootings they will say that it is not working because there are so many illegal transfers between private individuals. "To make it work" they will demand legislation by congress creating universal registration or perhaps the President will issue an Executive Order to doing the same thing under the legal cover of making the expanded background check legislation more effective.
