Finally Closed the Deal

After two seasons, over a couple hundred hours in a deer stand, SEVERAL thousand miles on my truck, and five close encounters, I finally got to put my hands on this buck, and there was no ground shrinkage. He's a main frame 10 point with a gross scores of just over 170 inches, and he's the second largest buck I've ever killed and the largest with my crossbow.

I thought he was 5, but by his teeth, my son says he has to be at least 6 maybe older.

Thanks! That's a great resource, but my son is a taxidermist and pretty good at aging. I'll probably send it to ODWC for confirmation.

This is the second year in a row that I've bought ML licenses and not needed too, but I may go shoot a doe this evening just for grins.

Those G2's and G3's are incredibly long. How wide was the buck? It's hard to tell from the picture. Just a super clean rack...love it.
