Purchased some better condition WWII era Keyes grips as well as a NOS set of USGI grip screws that I aged to match. I think its a nice improvement.

Shot 100 + rounds through the gun last weekend and it functioned flawlessly. Recoil spring definitely needed replaced though so I've installed an 18.5 lb from Wilson. Fingers crossed that the gun will still run as well afterwards.

wish i had known you needed a spring, i've got several. you ever drop by again drag that along with you please

Thanks Ray! I may need to drop it back down to a 16 lb spring so I'll trade you if this one gives me any trouble. Do you think that I should replace the mainspring as well? I actually had the pistol with me last Saturday...sorry I didn't show it off. :(
