Kewl... looks nice. I just picked up a '42 Sako last month myself. Possibly used to make a few Communists into good Communists. I get about 3 MOA with mine from field positions, using cheap ball. I will be using it in the mil surp bolt action challenge at the Pawnee Run 'n Gun in January... maybe on some pigs as well.

Looks very nice henschman! Your's has a lot more blueing left on it. Did you find that ammo in the white boxes recently? It's non-corrosive, right? I bought some of it a while back for <$7/box, but have not seen it for sale since. It would make good medicine for some pigs.

Thanks man -- yeah, the whole rifle is in really good shape. That ammo actually came with the rifle, so I don't know when it was bought. Yes, it is non-corrosive. I have a couple boxes of 203 grain soft points that I plan to use on pigs!

I'm sure there will be a few this weekend at the big show in Tulsa. I have noticed there are a lot of them on gun broker right now. Must be coming from the people that bought from SOG and Classic recently.

So, I signed up for the vintage military rifle competition at red castle on 11/21. I'll be using this one. My sone will be using a '51 SKS. Anyone ever competed in one of those types of events?
