I think he took one in that was 450 and got back 320-340#, will have to ask for sure but I know they yield 70-75%, usually so lean can only hang for a week or it’ll dry out. When the weather gets cool enough I plan on butchering a yearling, I will be doing it myself they’re just a tad bigger then a muley and smaller then an elk. 3/acre is what I run normally, will be at that number again in November hopefully.
