I am not trying to hijack this thread but I am on the FNRA committee in Tulsa, Yes you pay $40.00 for dinner and a chance to spend more money, But you can win lots of cool stuff including guns, prints and other items that are limited editions ALL the money raised at these banquets go to deserving youth programs right here in Oklahoma and NOT to the NRA. Last year we paid out over $457,000.00 to these programs in Oklahoma. They also fund the Eddie Eagle program which I have first hand knowledge of 2 incidents that this program works!! If you have never been to one you should go check it out and support them and know that you are helping out some deserving kids and maybe win a nice gun or other cool item. I sold a $50.00 "Bakers Dozen" ticket to a member on this site last year and he won a Walther PPK stainless .380 pistol! Even if you don't win something you can feel good that you helped a good cause. They have silent and live auctions along with the Bakers Dozen drawing, Wall of Guns drawing, Cup games, Bucket Raffles and other games. If anyone is interested in the Tulsa banquet it is Aug. 16th and you can P.M. me for info but you guys in the OKC area should really go check out their banquet!!!
