Interesting story. Co-worker is a football official working mostly 8-man games.
Friday night he was working the Coyle-Timberlake game. Coyle's field lacks a bit to be desired so they play at Langston. Part of the way through the game, the Coyle superintendant comes out on the field and says to get the boys in the locker room....just had a shooting on campus. Finally got the all clear and finished the game about 11:00 pm.

Maybe it's time to go back to the cow pasture at Coyle to play the rest of the season.

Not sure if they caught him but they gave the all clear and the game finished.
I believe there is renewed interest in bring the Coyle field up to snuff.

It might be hard to do right now with the schools in another budget crunch depending on how far gone it is but it would be worth working toward.
