I paid somewhere around $1100 or $1200 each for two about three years ago. Since you're asking this question in this way, I'm guessing you're just trying to get a feel for what you're looking at and haven't actually started shopping yet. I say this because I was floored by the number of types, options, and manufacturers available. IIRC there are a number of companies that will come give you free estimates, so just go ahead and shop around.

Probably $800 or so, I think that insulated doors even qualify for the energy tax credit.

You might try American Overhead Door. I use them at work.

Home Depot or Lowes have an option on their website to customize and price garage doors.

I think in order to qualify for the tax credit the purchase had to be made before November 1 and installed by the end of this year. That was like a $200 dollar savings I missed out on.... Argh!

But I got a bid from Overhead Door and it was going to be around $900 (after tax credit) for a 16'X7' insulated door.
