If you put plenty of hay etc underneath the ripe cantaloupe drop to the ground without damage or you can do as I and make little ‘Bras’ out of garden netting. Solves the problem of insects destroying the fruit on the ground as well as not easily finding them in the weeds/vines</p></blockquote><p></p>
