All it takes is one distiller to try something,,, Then every other distiller has to copy the act. Remember the influx of Honey Bourbons of a few years back? Evan Williams did one and very soon after,,, Every other distiller had a Honey Bourbon. Wild Turkey has a American Honey Bourbon that's so-so for taste,,, But they also have one out that's called,,, Wild Turkey American Honey Sting. This one has just a hint of "ghost pepper" (whatever that is),,, A friend gave me an airline mini bottle of that stuff,,, I poured it straight over one big ice cube,,, It was absolutely wonderful! And I hate hot peppers. Even Tequila distilleries get in on the act,,, Hornitos Black Barrel is a blanco tequila that is aged in old whiskey barrels. I keep a bottle of that around for the occasional shot on the rocks. Sometimes the oddest sounding things turn out well. Aarond .
